Get Involved at PSBA!

The Pennsylvania School Boards Association is a nonprofit statewide association of public school boards, pledged to the highest ideals of local lay leadership for the public schools of the commonwealth.

The strength of any association is the combined voice of its membership, the “Power of More.” This power is meaningful when you and your colleagues get involved. The ways to get involved are as varied as the personalities that make up PSBA. Make a difference in public education across the state by participating today.

Participate in Training
Keep up with the latest issues and innovation by attending PSBA-sponsored workshops, seminars and conferences. Keeping yourself up to speed on the latest issues and innovation helps strengthen public education. Visit the Training & Events tab for details on upcoming programs.

Advocate for public education
Your direct contact with a state legislator, whether through letter, e-mail, fax, call or visit, is far more powerful than anything PSBA staff members can do. PSBA makes it simple to contact your legislators by e-mail by providing many different opportunities. Through the Legislative Action Center, members can contact their legislators via e-mail. Sign up as an advocate through the center and you will receive e-mail Action Alerts that will let you know when PSBA needs your help contacting your state officials on certain issues. (Members login is required to access the Legislative Action Center.)
