PSBA Board of Directors
The Pennsylvania School Boards Association is a nonprofit statewide association of public school boards, pledged to the highest ideals of local lay leadership for the public schools of the commonwealth.
Region 4: Robert Lumley-Sapanski
Beginning his ninth year on the board and fifth year as president of Bellefonte Area School Board (Centre Co.), Lumley-Sapanski serves on the NSBA Pre-K Committee and previously volunteered with the Federal Relations Network. He was Centre Co. coordinator for three years and is a member of the Rural School Forum. He is a graduate of the College of Agriculture at Penn State and currently works at Penn State as facilities and safety coordinator for the Food Science department, which runs the Penn State Creamery, and is chair of the Staff Advisory Committee to the Dean. Lumley-Sapanski is involved in many youth activities, including Boy Scouts, 4-H and youth sports programs. He has hosted the Folk Show on WPSU Public Radio for 20 years and raises sheep on his small farm.
