Straub is Stroudsburg Area SD 's secretary to the superintendent. She is a member of the Monroe Co. Association of Educational Office Professionals, PA Association of Educational Office Professionals, National Association of Educational Office Professionals, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and the Embroiderers' Guild of America. Straub has received the Pocono Mountains Chamber of Commerce Secretary of the Year award and the Gertrude Kopf Award of Recognition. She is secretary of her church council.
