Lewis P. Plauny
Lewis Plauny is the board secretary, director of Financial Affairs, Grants Committee chairman and Federal Programs coordinator for Montrose Area SD (Susquehanna Co.). He has a bachelor’s degree in education from Clarion University and earned a master’s degree in science from the State University of New York. Plauny was a teacher, coach and vice president of a progressive teachers union, so he has worked for both labor and management. As a real estate broker and owner of a number of private businesses, he has had experience in both private and public enterprise. A long-time member of PASBO, Plauny has contributed his time to committee work and workshops and has authored a number of articles for professional journals for ASBO and PASBO.
